Homemade Pot Pie Recipe

Carolyn's Pot Pie Recipe certainly is a family favorite! Use this quick and easy recipe with any type of meat you prefer.

Ingredients

Meat

Gravy

Carrots (Chopped)

Celery (Chopped)

Onions (Chopped)

2 Tablespoons Butter

2 Bouon cubes

4 cups of water

3 potatoes (chopped)

Bag of frozen veggies


Crust

2 cups Flour

Teaspoon of Salt

Stick and a half Butter

6 tablespoons cold water

2 sheets of wax paper / parchment paper


Directions

  1. Satee the carrots, celery and onions in a little bit of butter.

  2. Add 4 cups of water and 2 bouton cubes.

  3. Let simmer and cook down.

  4. Add the potatoes

  5. Add bag of frozen veggies, leftover gravy, and meat.

  6. Continue to let simmer

  7. While it continues to simmer, mix the ingredients together by hand, adding water gradually.

  8. Place 1 sheet of wax paper / parchment paper on prep surface, sprinkle some flour. Place dough and sprinkle flour on it, then place additional paper sheet on top.

  9. Shape / Roll dough into your desired pan size

  10. Add meat and veggie mixture into pan.

  11. Place dough on top, and poke holes

  12. Bake at 450 for 40 minutes, or until crust is brown.

  13. Let cool and enjoy!!
